During the last couple of years, more and more business owners have found the key answer to this long-lasting challenge, which is, as you’ve probably guessed, Marketing Automation.
A recently published report revealed that an average of 49% of the companies is using marketing automation, to increase their sales productivity, customer engagement, and more. However, one of the most appreciated benefits brought to business owners was the time they saved by automating some or all of their marketing activities. And this is just the beginning. According to a MarketsandMarkets report, the marketing automation software market will be on the rise in the years to come, as well, forecasted to reach $5.5 billion by 2019. Looking forward to that!
When talking about B2B marketing, more and more companies are adopting marketing automation technology because of the tremendous advantages not only for their marketing and sales departments but their customers as well. Let’s discover together what are the trends for MA that will improve your marketing strategy.
1. Accurate and customized user behavior
Companies have to deal with tons of customers data, gathered from various channels - social media, website and direct feedback. Metrics like conversion rate optimization are now quickly updated thanks to divided testing and other behavior monitoring methods that are available today. Every automated connection is being properly examined because businesses are finding the benefit in the deep dive.
2. The key word is integration
We all know just how important the communication between teams and departments is, and this applies to your systems, as well. To make sure that you have the best reports and you can track ROI, there must be a permanent connection between your CRM, paid ads, organic traffic, content and social media platforms. The prediction will become significantly easier when all your systems are talking with each other.
3. Mobile-friendly optimization
If you would spare some time and just watch the people nearby, you will notice that everybody is either talking over the phone, checking their emails or their Facebook and Instagram accounts. This can only mean that mobile has become the most powerful tool that connects people with everything that happens around. Recent research conducted by eMarketer has revealed that people are spending more and more time on their mobiles than on any other devices, such as tablets or computers. Thus, using mobile to interact, connect and communicate with customers is probably the most successful way of increasing your business brand and, why not, your sales as well. How do you do this? It's simple. Design your website, landing pages or pdfs to be mobile-friendly and easy to navigate. Maybe next time you will pass by someone, you will see him checking your website on his mobile rather than his social media accounts
The Marketing Automation technology is here to stay and progress. There are still some other trends on the rise that in short amount of time will be for sure used by every company. These are site chatbots, interactive content, VR and other instant communication tools.
By now, it's a well-known fact that automation is only improving our way of working by simplifying and streamlining our daily activities and not only. One of the most important and most valuable assets that a business can possess is its customers, and we should use all the tools to keep them engaged and satisfied.
